Pushing into the future of IoT with a team restructure

We’re always working hard behind the scenes to deliver the best products and services to the channel, and this time it meant needing to shake things up in our team.

Our co-founder Chris Romeika has changed his title from Operations Director to Chief Technology Officer as he looks to rejig his daily responsibilities and help us play a part in the bright future of the IoT world. Plus, the change will allow him to focus on what he loves most – technology and engineering.

With our company experiencing remarkable growth, we needed to make some adjustments to continue meeting the high standards the channel sets for us. Now we’ll be at our innovative best.

Chris is excited for what the new role will bring, saying: “The change to CTO was inspired by the need to focus on Pangea technology so that we can ensure we’re always at the forefront of what we can offer the channel. This new tech will mean we can offer the latest products and services, plus best-in-class internal platforms and processes.”

Powering up our operations

To further bolster our team, we’ve recently welcomed Phil Taylor, who will be our new Chief Finance and Operations Officer. Phil was already working in a consulting capacity for us since May. And now we’re leaning on his rare ability to keep fast-growing businesses succeeding.

In the past, Phil spent 16 years in a growing software health tech company and has been an executive since 2012. He was then convinced to join the world of intelligent mobile connectivity when he saw the transformational benefits the technology provides organisations globally.

And now Phil’s focussed on helping our team deliver best-in-class, resilient, and cost-effective solutions through technology, processes, and partner-focused services.

Armed with his invaluable experience and know-how, we’ll continue delivering the best IoT connectivity in the market.

What you can expect

Phil’s responsibilities will include overseeing the operations team, both the first and second line, as well as the development of our IoT portal. After investing six figures into our portal, he’ll help boost its potential while ensuring it gives the channel exactly what it needs.

And he’ll be looking to continue evolving and innovating the way we support our partners. Now with a renewed focus, the team will be firing on all cylinders, helping our partners grow as their customers leverage the benefits intelligent mobile connectivity.

Phil is also itching to make an impact, saying: “I have always enjoyed working with teams with a clear vision and a passion for delivering amazing outcomes.
