IoT market surge in lockdown leads to 54% team growth at Pangea

With 87% of businesses now saying IoT is critical for their future success, we’ve expanded both our Ops and Sales teams to match the huge surge in demand in the IoT and mobile connectivity market that began in 2020. We’re pleased to say that over the course of the last year, the team has grown by a massive 54%!

Lee Simpson and Natasha Terlecki have joined the Sales team as our newest Partner Account Managers.

Lee brings a keen attention to detail and a proven track record for managing customer relationships. He’s a self-confessed geek with a knack for building computers… but his biggest claim to fame is his 5 years consecutive years starring on Robot Wars!

And Natasha is a futurist and expert in all things digital, with plenty of experience using innovative solutions to solve businesses’ biggest problems. If there’s new tech on the horizon, you can be sure Natasha knows about it.

They join Jo Ryan and Rich Crossingham, our new Business Development Directors who came aboard last year.

We’re excited to welcome our two newest 2nd Line Support Engineers Ben Camua and Chris Nicholson to the team.

Ben hails from the Philippines, sporting a CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) qualification and bringing heaps of network engineering experience to the team (along with some of the best cooking skills in the office).

And Chris is based up in Scotland, supporting the team from our Glasgow office with a deep expertise gained from working with both midweight providers and major MNOs. His Game of Thrones knowledge is unmatched—quiz him if you dare…

They’re joining alongside our new Operations Manager Donnovan Labuschagne, who began leading our IoT support team last year.

Our MD Dan Cunliffe is thrilled to have the new recruits on board. ‘Our new recruits are all experts in their fields, and we’re lucky to have them. They’ve already fit right in with the team, and having them onboard will help us serve our partners even better, from both an Ops and Sales perspective.’
